But I loved reading more about how she can sort of teleport. And we get to see more of his sister, Lilli, as well. There are so many awesome characters in this book. As I think Chase is an amazing character and I loved getting to know him a bit more in this book. It bothered me a little bit, but then, not really, because Chase is still all kinds of awesome, despite being a bit young :) I loved that the book is told from his point of view. We also learn that Chase just turned thirteen, which is almost two years younger than Parker. Most of this book takes place inside a huge spaceship, which I mostly loved. I won't talk too much about the plot, but there are some things I want to mention. And the characters are just all kinds of adorable. I'm not sure how to talk about this book.

I didn't hate anything, but felt like there could have been a little bit more. I'm giving this book a four star, because I really adored it. A few small things bothered me a little, but so much made me happy.

I'm just so glad that I read this book right now. And I will be re-reading both books before I read third book if there will be one. But I felt like I remembered some things, not everything, but that's okay, as I understood everything in this sequel. I should probably have re-read The Lost Planet before reading this book. She still loves to read, and is currently hard at work on more novels. Rachel lives in Los Angeles with her husband, two children, and two clingy cats. In 2010 she started writing what would become THE LOST PLANET, which was published in 2014, followed by the sequel THE STOLEN MOON in 2015. She found work instead at a company called Google, and the nice Turkish boy (now her husband) became a rocket scientist, which gave Rachel the opportunity to watch lots of heart-pounding rocket launches over the years that followed. She met a nice Turkish boy and they moved to California together, where she received a masters in journalism from UC Berkeley that she never used.

While living in Germany, Rachel studied Chinese at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität, cooked fajitas for the masses at a student restaurant, and typed up reams of dictation at a patent law firm. Through books like Lloyd Alexander's excellent Vesper Holly series she discovered an interest in foreign languages and travel, and so in college she majored in German and Political Science and moved to Munich promptly upon graduation. Always a voracious reader, she could often be found sitting by a stack of library books in the ice rink while her brother played endless amounts of hockey.
